Instead we were taught to punish their loving brilliance Their intelligence is innocent

Our brilliance was stolen from us Our brilliance was taken from us Our brilliance was our innocence There are many type of brilliance

We are guardians

On borrowed time

Grow with them

Don't punish them for seeing

They are wise

They are intelligent

They are aware

They are conscience

So were we So we are
